High-Speed Roll Film Bag-Making Packaging Machine

Roll film bag-making machine forming a bag around the filling tube
Shape, fill and seal snack, nut, pet-food and powder packages from rollstock — with sizing based on the completed bag rather than the advertised speed in brochures.

Filling routes

Auger filler; Liquid pump; Multihead weigher; Volumetric cup

Shape, fill and seal snack, nut, pet-food and powder packages from rollstock — with sizing based on the completed bag, rather than the speed stated in brochures.

Evaluate VFFS-320S, VFFS-420S and VFFS-620S based on the finished rollstock package — not solely on the speed advertised in brochures.

Check first: Projects requiring only rotary packaging of pre-made pouches (doypack, zipper, spout), or tea and coffee filter-bag production without a rollstock-based VFFS process.

Which product do you need to package?

The VFFS machine forms and seals the bag. Product feeding, metering, gas flushing and downstream inspection remain separate project considerations. Choose the most suitable profile to examine the checks — these categories do not guarantee compatibility.

Snack Packaging

Typical dosing method

An elevator combined with a multihead weigher is the usual starting setup for chips and similar snack products.

Sample verification. Final compatibility and machine setup are determined by testing representative product and pouch samples.

A pouch label alone cannot establish compatibility.

Review three completed-pack formats specified for this machine: pillow bag, gusseted pouch and carry-handle bag. Hole punching, tear notches, gas flushing and chain-style bags are available options. Each configuration still requires a finished-bag drawing, rollstock specifications and an actual material sample.

Pillow Bag

Pillow Bag

Common applications

A vertical rear seal combined with top and bottom cross seals. The standard starting format for rollstock VFFS packaging of snacks, nuts, pet food or powders.

Compatibility verification

Check the finished bag width and length, film roll width, print registration, sealing layer and available product headspace.

Handle Pouch
Handle pouch with a carry handle punched in the top seal

Handle-Carry Bag

Common applications

A carry handle is included among the optional features listed on the current page. It is not part of the standard tooling setup and may require a different punch, film material or machine configuration than a standard pillow bag.

Compatibility verification

Check the handle design, punch location in relation to the artwork and seal areas, film strength, and whether a pre-made pouch packaging solution would be more suitable.

Side-Gusset Bag
Side-gusset bag with folded panels along both sides

Gusseted Pouch

Common applications

A listed option on the current page (gusseted bag assembly). Side gussets increase bag capacity; they are not a standard adjustment available on every forming set.

Compatibility verification

Provide the gusset drawing, film structure, forming-collar specifications, and confirmation of whether a block-bottom or quad-seal finish is specifically required.

Customize the System for Your Product
Select a suitable starting configuration, then verify every interface against the actual product, bag specifications and site requirements. The VFFS machine serves as the bag-forming, filling and sealing unit, with feeding, dosing, gas flushing and discharge systems configured to match its requirements.
