Frequently Asked Questions
Which rotary model fits my pouch?
Match pouch size and fill weight: SPM-200R for pouches 80–200 mm wide with 10–1500 g fills, SPM-250R for 120–250 mm with 10–2500 g, and SPM-320R for 180–320 mm with 100–5000 g. Pouch length goes from 100–320 mm up to 100–420 mm across the three models.
Which pouch styles can it run?
Premade stand-up pouches, flat-bottom pouches, handle pouches and zipper pouches. The pouch arrives printed and finished, so the machine opens, fills and seals instead of forming the bag from film.
What is the difference between this and a VFFS machine?
A VFFS machine forms the bag from roll film, which suits sachets, stick packs and pillow bags. A rotary premade machine fills pouches that are already printed and shaped, which suits stand-up and flat-bottom retail packs. The trade-offs are set out in this comparison guide.
How fast does it run?
10–60 pouches/min on the SPM-200R and SPM-250R, and 10–50 pouches/min on the SPM-320R. Real output depends on pouch size, fill weight, product flow behaviour and the filling system fitted.
How much floor space is required?
L2100 × W1650 × H1500 mm for the SPM-200R and SPM-250R, and L2340 × W1850 × H1600 mm for the SPM-320R. Machine weight is 1500 kg for the first two and 1800 kg for the SPM-320R, so a level, load-bearing floor is needed.
